Chris & Leslie Morgan Wedding – October 3, 2009

Morgan Wedding #1Chris and Leslie had a vision and a plan for their wedding, and they executed it perfectly. They chose to host their special day at the magnificent and extremely spacious Taft Barn in Atascadero. It was one of the largest barns I’ve ever worked in and has limitless possibilities for hours of recreation and fun with horseshoe pits, a pool table, dart boards and foosball. The Taft Barn could easily house and seat 300 guests with room to spare. The interior of the barn was adorned with autumn decorations; pumpkins, leaves and candles were at every turn of the head and complimented the rusticity of the barn completely, down to the cinnamon pumpkin scented hand soap and lotion in the bathroom. The couple’s friends and family did an excellent job of tying together the elegance of a wedding and the rusticity of this country barn together. Chris and Leslie had their ceremony at the front of the barn with a stunning sheer white fabric as the back drop; the white various sized lanterns that hung from the ceiling tied the elegance of the whites together. Hay bales separated the ceremony from the reception area which was set up right behind the fabric. The ceremony music was very unique to the bride and groom as they chose upbeat country style songs to walk down the aisle to. Leslie and her father entered the barn to Aerosmith’s “Pink,” which was unique to them because her maiden name is Pink. The reception was full of excitement and energy from the moment Chris and Leslie joined their guests. Everyone cheered at their grand entrance and as they headed straight to the dance floor for their first dance. Toasts are traditionaly done with champagne, but not at this wedding. This creative couple had shot glasses and a carafe of Butterscotch Schnapps on each table for toasts. Chris and his friends were very much into Celtic pub music and sang with beer mugs lifted high in the middle of the dance floor until the end of the night. This was a one of a kind celebration in many ways, and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this fun and unique celebration.Morgan Wedding #2

Chris & Leslie’s review from WeddingWire:
Chris is a great guy and wonderful to work with. I would strongly recommend him to any bride getting married. He is fun, organized, and very easy to work with.
I found the cost to be a little more than I wanted to pay, but I was very happy with his work and would definitely recommend him. And just bride advice, the more time you put into organizing music and events with Chris the more you get out of it. He is capable of accommodating anything you need, so if you know what you want he can do it. Even if you don’t know what you want, he can help you.
My new husband and I really enjoyed working with Chris. He is very easy to get along with and I felt very comfortable with him. Thank you for doing a great job at our wedding!
