The Team in Training of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society puts together an exciting 100 mile bike ride twice a year to raise money for their organization, and what a successful event this was for them as they raised approximately $250,000! They had about 90 bikers all over the state of California participate in the ride throughout the Santa Ynez Valley. The riders started and ended at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott in Buellton. The bikers were greeted with applause and cheer as they finished their 100 mile journey. The celebration, cheering and excitement continued as they entered the banquet room and visited with one another before and during dinner. We feel so honored to have had the opportunity to be apart of this impressive event. The organization’s colors are green and purple, so we provided decor up-lighting in these colors around the perimeter of the room and on their sign in the foyer. When the dancing commenced, the excitement and energy in the room was even more heightened, which didn’t seem possible! Two adorable children got the dance floor started and in no time, the room was hopping with people of all ages. This was a really fun group of people who undoubtedly had an immense love of people and life. About half the group put on a hilarious dance routine to “Walk Like an Egyptian” with self-made cloth napkin turbans; they paraded around the dance floor while singing and dancing in unison. There was even a light-hearted “dance challenge” between the San Francisco and Central Coast divisions. Bailey Entertainment was happy to be a part of this event and what it stands for.
Thank you so much for being a part of our event. Everyone had a fabulous time! The music was great and the lighting definitely added just the right touch to the room. After riding an exhausting 100 miles, it was really great to see everyone gather up the energy and get out on the dance floor to celebrate. Thanks so much for getting everyone out there! I look forward to working with you next year.
