Darren and Jen had their ceremony on Friday immersed in the beauty of the Central Coast out on Highway 58 amongst the live oak trees and wildflowers. This was an intimate ceremony with approximately forty people in attendance. They chose an American monument in San Luis to hold their reception, the SLO Veterans Hall. This was a more relaxed reception that didn’t involve a lot of the traditional festivities. Darren and Jen’s focus was on it being a relaxed environment for their guests, and they wanted to concentrate on quality time with their friends and family. Their guestbook was very unique; Darren created a “photo booth” in the back corner of the room for the guests to have their picture taken. These pictures would be their memorable guestbook of their special day. Darren put a lot of time and effort into building killer music lists for every part of the reception: the cocktail hour, background during dinner and dance music. JenĀ and her dad chose a unique song and dancing style for their father-daughter dance. They got down to “Ride Like the Wind” by Christopher Cross. This was a group that was particular to what they were wanting to dance to; they were all about the classic rock and music from the 80′s and 90′s. Jen said early in the evening that she had the itch to dance, and she wasn’t kidding! She had great rhythm and moves and was out on the dance floor for ninety-five percent of the open dancing.
Darren & Jen’s review from WeddingWire:
Chris was very responsive and was easy to get a hold of. He was very flexible and very willing to play music from a list we put together.
