Michael and Jennifer had their ceremony and reception at one of our most impressive wineries on the Central Coast, Robert Hall Winery in Paso Robles. This couple was originally scheduled to have their wedding at Villa Toscana, but with the change of events there, they needed to change venues and they weren’t disappointed. They chose the barrel room to hold their ceremony. The walkway to the ceremony seating was candlelit and the beautiful melodies of harp music played by Penny Beavers welcomed the guests as they found their seats. The barrel room is quite chilly, but it was barely noticeable with the warmth of the music and the love that was felt from this darling couple. The reception was held on the floor above in the Meritage room. The view that greeted you as you walked across the veranda during the cocktail hour outside the Meritage room was nothing less than impressive. There were pools and fountains in all directions. The guests were then awed by the gobo of the couple’s first initials above an image of swans kissing, the fuchsia up-lighting and other decorations that welcomed them into the reception. Epic Catering served a several course, family style dinner to each of the tables. This consisted of platters of food being delivered to each table and the guests passed them around the table and served themselves as if sitting down for dinner in their homes. This is an uncommon thing to see at receptions, but it went over very well. When the dancing commenced, there was no shortage of bodies on the dance floor at any moment. Adults of all ages and the few children that were there had a blast. One of the children’s style of dancing was to do cart wheels across the dance floor as his brother did his variation of break dancing. It was entertaining to watch everyone living in the moment. Michael and Jennifer had put together an awesome list of songs and their guests loved every song they had chosen. This bride and groom were so involved, friendly, grateful and appreciative which made this an even more enjoyable event to be a part of. They came up, complimented us, thanked us and shook our hands on several occasions. Jennifer wore a sparkling tiara and looked like a princess; there’s no doubt that this match made in heaven will “live happily ever after.”
Michael & Jennifer’s review from WeddingWire:
My wife and I could not be happier with our experience having Chris Bailey as our wedding DJ. From the start of our correspondence with him, he was very easy to communicate with and get ahold-of. He was very flexible with wedding venues, music choices and reception activity ideas.
DJ’s are also in-charge of drafting the timeline for the ceremony/reception and Chris was very organized and put-together a very detailed timelime that worked very well for our wedding day. Chris also provided some up-lighting for our reception, which looked great and was a big hit with our guests.
Above all, Chris proved himself to be a genuine and understanding person to us during all the stresses of wedding planning. He was always available to provide advice to us on any aspect of our planning – beyond the scope of the music – and was just a very personable guy who would make any event complete.
