Tiber Canyon is one of most natural and beautiful sites we have the privilege to work at here on the Central Coast. Nestled in the hills between San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande, it truly is a slice of heaven. It’s seclusion and peacefulness are such a refreshing and wonderful change from the hustle and bustle of the life that most of us know within the city. The timber-frame barn with the artsy wrought iron banister/baluster is unique and blends in perfectly with the landscape. Chris Anderson of Tiber Canyon has such a calmness and ease about her that was contagious and made the event even more enjoyable.
Chris and Karla had their ceremony on the deck that overlooked the oak and manzanita woodland that surrounds the property. The overwhelming vibe of everyone there that day was of a fun-loving ease and love for life. The bride couldn’t stop laughing during the ceremony and the best man almost dropped the rings onto the hillside below through the slats of the deck right after the pastor asked for the rings. Everyone laughed and joked about it during the cocktail hour and reception. Their “love for life” attitude was even more apparent on the dance floor. There was smiling and laughter as far as the eye could see from the first to the last songs.
Chris & Karla’s review from WeddingWire:
Chris was absolutely awesome to work with… He managed to incorporate unique bits of our personalities (Richard Cheese – lounge versions of rap, rock, etc – worked into our cocktail hour and background music during dinner!) while keeping everything cohesive and wedding appropriate. During our consultation before hand, he helped us work through our indecisiveness and pick our first dance song. Chris did a great job of keeping everything on schedule and reading the crowd – the dance floor was full the whole night, and we even ended up buying extra time since no one had left yet. You can definitely find a cheaper DJ, but it’s not likely you’d find a better DJ. I’d definitely recommend him to other central coast brides.
