We had the pleasure of doing DJ/MC and decor lighting again with this fantastic group of people. We had so much fun at Tastee Freez the night before, but the fun was only beginning. Every once in a while you work with a bride and groom that you can see yourself being life long friends with; Jerry and Laurie were this exact couple. We enjoyed the wedding with this group just as much, if not more than, we did the night before at the rehearsal dinner. There is a joy and love that is readily shared with them and is contagious to everyone around them. It was so awesome to see so many friends and family come together and pitch in to make this special day absolutely perfect. They worked so hard, but didn’t hold back from celebrating to the fullest; their energy lasted throughout the day and night. This was our first time at Pear Valley Vineyard and we can’t wait until our next time. The view from the top of the hill where the ceremony site was is amazing. The Paso Robles Valley and Pear Valley’s vineyards can be seen as far as the eye can see. Jerry and Laurie became husband and wife with this breathtaking backdrop behind them. The weather was ideal for this absolutely perfect couple. After the ceremony, the guests made their way down the hill and enjoyed some wine and appetizers on the patios. Then they made their way inside the room adjacent to the tasting room to have dinner. We did red decor up-lighting inside this room and also on the walls on the patio where the dance floor was. Speaking of dance floor, there wasn’t a time that this dance floor wasn’t hopping. Jerry and Laurie picked out a great music list and this group danced to all of it! There was even some traditional Jewish dances, one of which included Jerry and Laurie being lifted up on chairs with the guests circling around them. This was such a fun and exciting weekend for everyone involved and we were honored to be a part of it. Thank you Jerry and Linda, we wish you the best that life has to offer and many congratulations to you!
Jerry & Laurie’s review from WeddingWire:
Chris was outstanding to work with. From our initial meeting through the welcome dinner and wedding (yes, he was there both evenings!) Chris was incredibly responsive to our questions and concerns. He encouraged us to let him know the music we wanted but had a masterful playlist that was exactly the music we wanted to hear and that our guests wanted to dance to.
Here is a direct quote from one of guests: “This is the best music I’ve heard at any wedding reception, ever!”
Chris is not someone that fancies himself a performer…clearly, he was there to facilitate a great party. He was enthusiastic when he made announcements and he definitely made both of our evenings flow but no one felt that our DJ was monopolizing the mic.
The DJ is a critical part of your evening as he or she affects the fun you will have on your wedding night as well as how much fun your guests will have. We’re one month out and seriously, our friends are still talking about the party.
We can’t recommend Chris highly enough.

Each decor lighting event is unique and one of a kind, but this one definitely was more than that. This one had a touch of extra pizazz and whimsicalness. Claire and Najeeb went with a carnival themed wedding. There was such creativity, bright colors and fun in all of decorations. Claire is a part of the Loomis family, which is a very well known family in the area. They own thousands of acres of land out in the Huasna Valley which is about 15 minutes outside city limits. They chose the family property of Tar Springs Ranch to celebrate their love and marriage. They had their ceremony and reception completely outside. The Tar Springs Ranch has a lot of history and nostalgia to it. It has the vibe of an old western town with old rundown western buildings that included a saloon. The property is full of humongous oak trees. Claire wanted us to use the colors of red and turquoise to decorate some of the trees and the buildings. We uplit one massive oak tree in red and another in turquoise; we placed some lights on the ground shooting up and others on branches shooting up and out. The canopies looked amazing as they illuminated the colors. We also uplit the front of the building on the backside of dance floor, behind the DJ, in a rotation of red and turquoise. The last place we used decor lighting was on the porch of this same building. The impact the lighting had was dramatic and exactly what the bride and groom were looking for. Outdoor venues are sometimes a little more work, as this one was, but it’s so exciting to see the impact and transformation it produces.
Claire and Najeeb’s review from WeddingWire:
Dionne did an awesome job with the up-lighting at our wedding. Both her and Chris were very easy to deal with and we would definately reccommend them! Thanks!!!

Greg and Sierra tied the knot at one of the most beautiful wedding locations on the Central Coast. The Cambria Pines Lodge has breathtaking gardens filled with colorful flowers and tall pine trees. The gazebo and lawn area is the most popular site on the property to do both ceremonies and receptions. Greg and Sierra were taken with the beauty of this site as well and chose to do both their ceremony there. After the ceremony, the guests made their way into the spacious reception room where they enjoyed beverages, appetizers and their dinner. Before the introduction of the couple, Greg’s mother performed a traditional Middle Eastern ceremony just before they entered. This included the throwing of rose peddles and rice. Apparently this is a tradition in her country that will bring luck to the union of the couple. After dinner and the formal dances, Greg’s Mom performed another traditional dance routine for everyone that included Sierra the Bride this time. This was a fun group to work with. They enjoyed the older classics style of music.
Greg and Sierra’s review from WeddingWire:
Chris was absolutely wonderful!!! He was willing to work with me and made it all about what I wanted. There were a few songs I hadn’t picked out on my own and Chris was so patient and helpful in picking them. Anytime I had a question or comment he always answered my call or called back immediately. My day was wonderful and stress-free because of how professional Chris was. I would strongly recommend him to anyone!!!

This wedding and reception was different than most. Isaac and Misti had a DJ booked from out of the area, and he told them three weeks before the wedding that he was not going to be able to be their DJ. Misti had interviewed us over the phone several months prior. She had kept our information and called us. We planned it out in a week’s time and everything went great! The ceremony was on the beach in the sand on a beautiful warm day. The reception was at the Avila Lighthouse Suites across the street. Isaac and Misti’s family and friends loved to dance. They had picked out a great song list for us to play. Music from the 90′s to brand new club style. We never wish this kind of stress on any bride and groom, but we wouldn’t have been a part of this fun event if the other DJ hadn’t backed out, and we’re thrilled we were able to jump in. A great time was had by all!
Isaac and Misti’s review from WeddingWire:
Our initial DJ backed out three weeks before the wedding! As you can imagine, I was one stressed out bride! Chris Bailey stepped in and was more than flexible; his services kept the reception running smoothly and all our guests commented on how great he was! In the end, everything fell into place with Chris, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality DJ! Super easy to navigate his website and very friendly in person!

We had the pleasure again of working with some more of our favorite, talented wedding professionals at one of the most beautiful wineries on the Central Coast. We worked alongside Kristin Odenwald of Jour Parfait who did all the wedding coordinating and Al and Jane Valdez of Bella Castle Photography. We had the pleasure of joining forces with Anthony Salas who was the DJ/MC for the event. Sean of AMS Entertainment contracted us to do the decor lighting in the barrel room of Meridian Vineyards. We placed our lighting fixtures on the walls behind the stacked up barrels. It was so exciting to see how the colors illuminated above the barrels and popped through the spaces in between the barrels. It complimented the rusticness of the room without taking over the beauty and ambiance of the barrels. We showed a before and two after pictures to show how lighting can really improve the mood and ambiance of any room.
Thank you to Bella Castle Photography for sharing the middle photo with us.

Jason and Jennifer had their wedding and reception at the Grand Chenier Ranch in San Miguel. The ceremony took place under a huge live oak tree in the middle of a beautiful field on the 4,000 acre horse ranch. The guests sat in old fashioned pews and were comforted by a nice breeze as the ceremony took place. The bride and bridesmaids were escorted to the ceremony in the bed of an old flatbed truck. It doesn’t get much more ranch style than that! The guests then made their way over to the barn for cocktails and appetizers. The barn is like no other barn in our area; it takes you back to the old west in a matter of seconds. It’s filled with an amazing amount of history through the antiques on the 2nd story loft. Guests were able to transport themselves as they walked around up there and enjoyed their cocktails. The downstairs area of the barn is where the guests sat and ate. The tables were not your traditional rental type; they were very similar to a dining set in a country home many years ago. For the dancing, everyone moved outside to a covered dance floor. As a DJ / MC for wedding receptions it is always great to have good crowds that want to dance and celebrate with the couple. Jason and Jennifer’s guests lived up to this expectation. They were fun, full of energy and were ready to dance into the night. This was a one of a kind event and it was a pleasure to work at this event. Congratulations Jason & Jennifer.
Jason & Jennifer’s review from WeddingWire:
Bailey Entertainment was absolutly AWESOME! Chris was professional, easy to work with, and very responsive to all of our calls, emails, etc. We gave Chris very little direction as far as what type of music we wanted, but he nailed it! Our guests literally danced the night away and people are still talking about how awesome our DJ was! I would reccomend Bailey Entertainment to anyone! Great job Chris, and thank you for helping make our big day perfect!!

Nicole and Max had an interesting vision when they were planning their wedding; they combined two of the beauties of the central coast in one wedding celebration: the beach and the countryside. Their ceremony took place on the lawn of The Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach. It was a beautiful, sunny and clear day with the Pacific Ocean to their backs which created a gorgeous setting for their union as husband and wife. This creative couple added a whimsical touch to their ceremony by having the most interesting ring bearer as part of their wedding party. Their adorable American Bulldog puppy brought up their rings on a pillow on his back. This brought many chuckles, awww’s and smiles. Once the ceremony was over the guests were transported by shuttles to the Dana Powers Barn in Nipomo. This is a beautifully unique and rustic, yet elegant location for the reception. This is one of our most favorite venues, and we love working with Judy Powers and her staff. Nicole and Max were fun to work with on the music and details of their wedding day. There was such a widespread joy on their wedding day in the forms of smiles, laughter and tears. We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this beautiful day!
Nicole & Max’s review from WeddingWire:
Chris was very professional, played great music, and kept the event fun and free of any cheesiness. He was also super organized and there was no lag time between songs. Chris surprised us by providing us with a CD at the end of the night which contained a recording of our ceremony! So sweet! Unfortunately, the CD got lost that night. So the only thing I would change is to mail the CD to us or to email us the recording. I would’ve loved to hear it! He was great and I would hire him again for any event. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!

The Paso Robles Inn holds such an elegance and class about it that is different than any other venue in the area. Megan and Brock knew this would be the perfect place for their reception and chose a special group of friends and family to share in their love and new life together. We really enjoyed spending time with Megan and Brock’s family and felt so appreciated. The guests had a great time celebrating, dancing and being a part of this special day. Brock is a CHP officer and choreographed a fun dance where he wore sunglasses and had a special dance with his new wife. Most of the guests were staying at the Paso Robles Inn, so they were of the frame of mind to let loose and get down. They asked us to stay an extra half hour because they were not done having fun dancing. Thank you Brock and Megan for choosing us to be a part of your wedding day celebration.
Megan and Brock’s review from WeddingWire:
Chris Bailey was awesome! We loved having him dj our wedding reception! The music was the best part of the night!!
And also from the mother of the bride on WeddingWire:
Chris Bailey is awesome! He’s professional, attentive and fun to work with! Not only did he keep our daughter’s wedding reception running smoothly, he created the atmosphere we wanted! I would highly recommend Bailey Entertainment!
