Avila Lighthouse Suites Wedding – August 20, 2011

We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of a couple’s wedding day. This wedding was no exception! Kalen and Nicole were such a blast to work with. They had such an abundance of energy glowing from them. They are the type of people that infect (in a positive way) the people around them with their joy, love and optimism. It’s extremely contagious. There are those couples that we just click with and these two were one of those couples. It was the type of wedding we looked forward to doing and thoroughly enjoyed being involved in. They had their wedding ceremony on the sun deck of the Avila Lighthouse Suites. The reception was in the banquet room on site. We emphasized the already “beachy” theme of the venue with our turquoise up lighting around the room. Photo booths have become a new trend in the wedding industry within the last couple of years. Kalen and Nicole took their photo booth to a different level with a green screen backdrop. This allowed the guests to choose different settings to have as the backdrop in their pictures. This was very unique and different and something that the guests really enjoyed. The overwhelming energy of Kalen and Nicole was felt everywhere in the room and throughout the whole evening. It was an upbeat and fun event. Thank you and congratulations to you both!

We hired Bailey Entertainment to do our wedding ceremony, reception and lighting for our special day on August 20th in Avila Beach. One word: WOW! Chris Bailey was so wonderful to us, start to finish. Out of all the wedding vendors I worked with, he was the most fun, professional and genuine. I work in the hospitality industry so I have seen other DJ’s at local events and I must say this is the best DJ company on the Central Coast. This wedding and reception was different than most. Isaac and Misti had a DJ booked from out of the area, and he told them three weeks before the wedding that he was not going to be able to be their DJ. Misti had interviewed us over the phone several months prior. She had kept our information and called us. We planned it out in a week’s time and everything went great! The ceremony was on the beach in the sand on a beautiful warm day. The reception was at the Avila Lighthouse Suites across the street. Isaac and Misti’s family and friends loved to dance. They had picked out a great song list for us to play. Music from the 90′s to brand new club style. We never wish this kind of stress on any bride and groom, but we wouldn’t have been a part of this fun event if the other DJ hadn’t backed out, and we’re thrilled we were able to jump in. A great time was had by all!

Our initial DJ backed out three weeks before the wedding! As you can imagine, I was one stressed out bride! Chris Bailey stepped in and was more than flexible; his services kept the reception running smoothly and all our guests commented on how great he was! Avila Lighthouse Suites Decor Up-lighting – January 3, 2010

We had the pleasure of joining forces with Bob of Phase 1 Mobile DJ by providing up-lighting for a wedding reception in the banquet room at Avila Lighthouse Suites. We used par cans set to fuchsia to color wash the walls around the perimeter of the room. The atmosphere of this reception was completely transformed with the use of 11 light fixtures. They accented and complimented the flowers and decorations beautifully.
