The Gardens at Peacock Farms Wedding – May 7, 2011

The Gardens at Peacock Farms in Arroyo Grande was the whimsical location where Christoper and Kelsea tied the knot. The weather was nice and the gardens were beautiful, as always. Logan and Jessica do a fabulous job with their property and coordinating events; they think of everything. Kelsea and Christopher had the majority of their guests shuttled onto the property. With approximately 200 guests in attendance, this wedding was destined to be a good time. The ceremony took place in the middle of the gardens with the grape vines of the vineyard in the background. The ceremony was short and sweet and right to the point. Christopher and Kelsea wanted their guests to enjoy the day and provided wine, a candy bar buffet and an always popular photo booth. The guests enjoyed all of these attractions. Once we were done with the formalities and started the dancing, everyone was eager to dance. We had a good group of people enjoying the song list Christoper and Kelsea provided. When the reception was over everyone got on the shuttle and headed to San Luis for the after party at the Creaky Teaky. This group knew how to celebrate, and this was a wonderful couple to be honored and celebrated! Congratulations!

We literally couldnt have asked for a better DJ!!! Chris Bailey was awesome! Chris played everything the guests wanted to hear to keep the party going. Chris was amazing to work with leading up to the day and the day of! Chris was extremely helpful, we were having a hard time picking out songs for each event (cake cutting/introductions/walking down the aisle, etc) and he had GREAT suggestions! I would definitely recommend Chris to any bride that wants their guests to have a good time, someone that is great on the mic, and wants their wedding to be PERFECT! It’s very rare that we get to experience the awe of a thunderstorm on the Central Coast, but we had the privilege of experiencing it, without getting wet, at the Gardens at Peacock Farms. We stood there gazing up at the dark clouds as the sounds of rolling thunder filled portions of the ceremony as the officiant spoke of God’s power. Towards the end of the ceremony the calls of three hawks could be heard amongst the thunder as they circled high in the clouds as if coaxing the rain to fall. It wasn’t until the sun went down that we were able to see the lightning also stretching across the sky. Not one raindrop fell during the whole ceremony and reception. Jessica outdid herself again not only with the gorgeous floral arrangements, but also with the impressive candy bar. This was one of the most elegant outdoor garden weddings that we’ve ever been a part of. All the table linens were the colors of pewter and black which coordinated perfectly with the bridesmaid dresses and deep red roses. The catering staff also stepped up their wardrobe to match the classiness by wearing 20′s style gangster hats. We provided red up-lighting under four of the walnut trees around the dance floor and on the beams of the arbor that Matthew and Alex exchanged their vows under. The friends and family of all ages thoroughly enjoyed the open dancing. There were several times throughout the evening that a dancing circle had been formed on the dance floor with little ones getting down and entertaining all the adults. This was another pleasurable event to do with Logan, Jessica and their talented staff at the Gardens at Peacock Farms. We look forward to the next one!

Justin & Katie Muller Wedding – July 10, 2010

The Gardens at Peacock Farms is definitely on the list as one of the most beautiful wedding sites the Central Coast has to offer. The flowers and gardens are gorgeous, and it’s easy to get lost in the beauty of them. Justin and Katie recognized that fact when they chose the site for their wedding day celebration. The brick walk ways and patio compliment the fountain and gardens perfectly. Jessica did an amazing job with the flowers, as always. The colors matched the bridesmaid dresses and decor impeccably. The bright and vivid colors of coral and turquoise gave such a vibe of cheerfulness and life. The colors were carried throughout the site from the hanging lanterns to the exquisite and yummy looking candy bar. The ceremony was one of the most involved ceremony’s I’ve ever been a part of. They had a keyboardist, guitarist and two singers. The ceremony was comprised of worship, songs and scripture which were very uplifting and touched everyone in attendance. It was so refreshing to see such young love. You couldn’t help but smile and “awwww” as you watched them together during the ceremony, looking into each other’s eyes and later during the reception as they danced their first dance, Katie and Justin are meant to be.

Scott & Amanda Haigwood Wedding – Sept. 12, 2009

The intimate and quaint elegance of The Gardens at Peacock Farms was the perfect setting for Scott and Amanda’s wedding and reception. The ceremony took place amidst the lavish gardens and fountains on a large brick courtyard. Scott and Amanda exchanged their vows in front of a vibrantly decorated wooden arbor. The combination of the gardens, impressive fountains and courtyard made for an absolutely complete atmosphere to start their life together. As the Gardens at Peacock Farms website so eloquently describes, “in a gorgeous garden under a shade canopy of beautiful walnut trees. The joys of music are echoed by a cascading fountain that announces your love and devotion on this day to be remembered forever.” I was able to up-light some of the walnut trees around the dance floor to compliment the beautiful ambiance that the gardens already held. The cake was displayed in an enchanting gazebo on the outskirts of the courtyard.
The dancing took place in the brick courtyard where the ceremony had been. The family and friends of this lovely couple were eager to dance and help them celebrate their love and new life together. The guests were especially fond of a couple of line dance songs that were requested. Everyone was fortunate to have the opportunity to capture a piece of this lovely celebration by stepping into the photo booth that Mike Larson Photography provided. I thoroughly enjoyed this pleasant experience at Peacock Farms and look forward to returning in the near future. I wish Scott and Amanda a fabulous life together and many years of happiness after their relaxing and enjoyable 10 day honeymoon cruise.
