Guests enjoyed a lounge style setting during the cocktail and appetizer hour. After cocktail hour and dinner, Lynn and Marge’s four children each toasted, honored and paid tribute to their parents by sharing touching and complimenting moments of their upbringing and their parent’s 50 years of marriage. Once the toasting had finished Lynn and Marge had a surprise for their guests. They had a long time friend and pastor renew their vows. Lynn had purchased new rings and had a couple of his granddaughters bring them on stage. Everyone including Marge was surprised. After they renewed their vows, the oldest son’s girlfriend sang a song for the first dance. Open dancing then commenced and continued until the last dance. This was a fun anniversary party, and I was happy to have been a part of their celebration.
